Mykhailo Mudryk wants to remain in the Premier League this season, with Leeds United reportedly considering another attempt to sign the Chelsea winger despite negotiations hitting an impasse last weekend.
Chelsea have been working to find Mudryk regular first-team football before the transfer deadline, with Strasbourg among the options available to the 25-year-old.
However, Ben Jacobs reports that the Ukraine international’s preference remains to stay in England, while Leeds have not ruled out making a fresh proposal.
That represents a potentially significant change after Chelsea previously appeared to close the door on an Elland Road move.
#UPDATE: Winger Mykhailo Mudryk is liked by clubs in England and in continental Europe, Leeds United and Strasbourg are among them.
Should the Ukrainian leave on loan, the priority is choosing a club that will provide game time and system fit.

Mykhailo Mudryk makes Premier League preference clear
Jacobs reported, via Talk Chelsea, that Mudryk would prefer a Premier League move despite having the option to join Strasbourg.
Other English top-flight clubs are also said to be interested.
The key issue for Chelsea is playing time.
Mudryk needs regular competitive minutes after his lengthy absence from football, making the sporting plan offered by any potential loan club particularly important.
That has complicated Leeds’ pursuit.
Chelsea have already rejected two approaches from Daniel Farke’s side, with ReadChelsea reporting earlier this week that Leeds talks had collapsed after a second Mudryk proposal was turned down.
Leeds could make fresh Chelsea offer
The situation may not be finished.
Jacobs says Leeds have not ruled out returning with another offer, despite the impasse between the clubs last weekend.
That does not mean a third proposal has been submitted.
But it reopens a potential route which appeared to have disappeared only days ago.
TalkSPORT previously reported that Chelsea had concerns about whether Mudryk would receive enough minutes at Leeds and were considering alternative destinations.
Strasbourg provides Chelsea with greater control over his development through BlueCo’s multi-club structure, but Mudryk’s own preference could influence the eventual outcome.
Chelsea face late Mudryk decision
Chelsea’s priority should remain finding the right environment for Mudryk rather than simply completing another outgoing deal.
He returned to action this summer after a lengthy spell away and needs consistent football to rebuild match sharpness.
A Premier League move would allow him to remain in England and test himself immediately at the highest domestic level.
Strasbourg remains an option, while interest from other Premier League clubs means Chelsea may yet receive alternatives before the deadline.
For now, the important progression is that Mudryk wants to stay in England and Leeds have not completely walked away.
The next development to watch is whether Leeds turn that interest into a fresh formal proposal.
