Hull City are reported to have reached an agreement in principle with Eintracht Frankfurt regarding the transfer of Jean-Mattéo Bahoya (21), according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.

A decision from the French forward is now expected in the coming hours; with his contract with Die Adler running until 2029, and his name having recently been linked with Everton. Playing on the left wing, Bahoya is a versatile player capable of operating in various positions on the pitch.

A product of the Angers SCO academy, Bahoya joined Frankfurt in January 2024 for a fee of €8m. Having made 33 appearances (15 starts) in all competitions (three goals, four assists) during his first full season in Hesse, the Montfermeil-born player recorded 37 appearances (18 starts, four goals, four assists) during the 2025–26 season.

Having been selected for the French national team since the Under-18s, Bahoya has made five appearances (two goals, four assists) for the Under-21s.
