**David Moyes has confirmed Everton have received a bid for Harrison Armstrong.**
Nottingham Forest are [preparing to test the resolve of Hill Dickinson Stadium chiefs with a £40 million offer](https://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/everton-fc/67665-pl-rival-to-test-everton-resolve-on-harrison-armstrong/) to prise away the West Derby-born midfielder.
Despite the uncertainty around his future, Moyes handed Armstrong a third straight start in the Blues’ Premier League trip to Bournemouth on Saturday.
Travelling Evertonians repeatedly chanted for the 19-year-old not to be sold at the Vitality Stadium, where James Tarkowski salvaged a 1-1 draw late on.
Speaking after the game, Moyes admitted an offer had been lodged for Armstrong but was unable to suggest what the club’s final decision will be.
He said: “I know that there’s been an offer.
“Apart from that, I don’t really think there’s much else I’ve got to say about it.
“It’s not really a question for just now. It’ll be a club decision (if he is sold).”
Everton are braced for a busy end to the summer transfer window with Armstrong’s future chief among their potential comings and goings.
Iliman Ndiaye could also be set to depart amid interest from Manchester City while Moyes’ side are still in the hunt for an established right-back signing.
Fulham defender Kenny Tete has re-emerged as a potential arrival despite turning down a move to Merseyside 12 months ago to sign a new contract.
“Without losing anybody, which we obviously don’t want to do, we still need to add players to what we’ve got,” added Moyes.
“I’ve been saying it for quite a while. I’ve been alluding to it, that we need to add.
“I think we’ve got some young, promising players, and we’ve got some things which are looking quite good.”
