Summer exits seem to be a major part of the plan for FC Barcelona before the end of the transfer window. Several players are already being linked to exits, while others have been rumoured to be leaving and are now finally close to finalising their respective departures.

In recent days, the likes of Toni Fernandez and even Alvaro Cortes have been confirmed to be leaving and have reached agreements with their new clubs. However, a certain Spanish midfielder has also been linked to an exit throughout this summer and he could finally be on his way out.

Still aged just 22, Marc Casado has his whole career ahead of him but it seems likely that he will not get a lot of opportunities at Barcelona moving forward. For that reason, an exit seems to be the best option for him and a number of European sides are reportedly pushing to sign him.

According to SPORT, there are several European clubs interested in the player and some are willing to push for his signature in these final days of the transfer window. One such club is Turkish side Besiktas, who have previously been linked to the player as well.

Moreover, other clubs from England are reportedly interested in the player as well as German side RB Leipzig. Ultimately, it seems clear enough that Casado’s next destination will likely be somewhere in Europe and he has proven himself enough with Barcelona to earn such a move.

As for the club’s asking price, Barça were reportedly demanding €20 million previously but might be open to revisiting their valuation depending on other factors. Still, the Catalan giants are primarily only considering a permanent transfer to ensure that revenue can be generated from the sale.

At the moment, it would appear that Besiktas is the club pushing the most for the player’s signature, but it is not Casado’s preferred destination as of right now. However, things will likely be clarified soon enough in the coming hours.
