Ravens Send Offensive Lineman To Chiefs In Last Minute Trade
Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports that the Baltimore Ravens are trading offensive lineman Diego Pounds to the Kansas City Chiefs. As a rookie, the undrafted free agent from Ole Miss ranked among Pro Football Focus’ highest-graded players this pre-season. In addition to adding depth to Kansas City’s offensive line, the 330-pound protector has a high upside.
Depending on what picks Kansas City has available at the end of the season, compensation in this trade may result in either a Day 3 2027 or a Day 3 2028 pick.

Before the 2024 season, Pounds transferred from North Carolina to Ole Miss. He started 15 games as a left tackle during his senior year in 2025, earning third-team All-SEC honors. He finished his college career with 46 games played, 32 starts, and an invitation to the East-West Shrine Bowl in 2026.
