Liverpool had to settle for a point when Nottingham Forest made the trip to Anfield on Saturday, but while Andoni Iraola's wait for a first win goes on, it could have been worse.
The Reds salvaged a last-gasp draw with Newcastle last weekend thanks to a Dominik Szoboszlai and Iraola saw his first home game end all square as Victor Munoz struck late on.
With just days to go in the transfer window, Liverpool is still looking to do business and a deal for Bradley Barcola is close to being finalized, with another attacking option likely to arrive.
But Cody Gakpo could depart, with Manchester City looking to do a deal at around $115 million (£85 million). Yankuba Minteh and Ismaila Sarr are both under consideration as replacements though neither will come cheap, especially with Liverpool's need for a right winger having been clear for some time.

PSG forward Bradley Barcola is expected to undergo his Liverpool medical today ahead of a transfer move worth up to $166 million (£123 million) including add-ons.
That will be a huge signing, of course, but Andoni Iraola is hoping for more to come in on top of that. The clock is ticking increasingly loudly as Liverpool looks to gets its roster in order.
