Mishel Nduka has “completed” his move to Man City after leaving Arsenal, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Posting on his X account, Romano said that the midfielder has “signed his contract” to become a scholar in City’s academy setup:
“Manchester City completed deal for the Academy as 16-year-old Mishel Nduka has now signed his contract. The midfielder joins on scolarship contract after leaving Arsenal.”
It was first revealed by The Athletic‘s David Ornstein last month that City had secured Nduka’s signature, after he decided not to put pen to paper on a new deal with the Gunners.
What do Man City fans need to know about him?
Nduka hadn’t been with Arsenal for long. He was snapped up from Charlton Athletic’s academy only last summer.
The 16-year-old made several appearances for the Gunners’ Under 18s, playing in the UEFA Youth League and the Under 18 Premier League.
Nduka also got a couple of outings for the Under 21s in Premier League 2 despite his young age, making appearances against Liverpool and Sunderland.
At international level, the midfielder has received 7 caps for England’s Under-16s, taking part in friendlies against the likes of the Netherlands, Spain, France and Argentina last season.

The Cityzens have been looking to supplement their youth ranks over the course of the summer transfer window.
£12.5m was spent on bringing Leicester City winger Jeremy Monga to the club, while they have also brought back goalkeeper Pierce Charles from Sheffield Wednesday.
The Northern Ireland international has already had one spell with Man City, having left to join Wednesday on a free transfer in the summer of 2020. He has now returned six years later, but he could end up costing upwards of £10m.
