Arsenal have agreed a deal to sell Gabriel Jesus to Barcelona, with the Brazilian forward set to undergo a medical on Monday ahead of a permanent move.
Fabrizio Romano reports Barcelona have reached an agreement with Arsenal over a package worth €10million plus add-ons, bringing Jesus’ time in north London close to an end.
The 29-year-old has been authorised by Arsenal to travel for his medical as the final formalities are completed.

Gabriel Jesus set for Barcelona medical
Fabrizio Romano reports that Barcelona have agreed a permanent deal for Jesus, with the striker due to complete his medical on Monday.
Arsenal are expected to receive €10m before additional performance-related payments.
The move represents a major progression from Friday, when ReadArsenal reported that Gabriel Jesus had been offered to Atletico Madrid.
Any potential Atletico deal was said to be separate from Julian Alvarez’s future, but Barcelona have now moved decisively to secure the former Manchester City forward.
Jesus had already been expected to leave Arsenal before the transfer deadline.
Romano previously reported that Jesus was no longer training with Arsenal’s first-team group, after Mikel Arteta explained that the decision was connected to the number of players in his squad.
Arsenal sanction permanent Jesus exit
Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City in 2022 and initially became a major part of Arteta’s attack.
Injuries and increased competition gradually reduced his role, however, and his future became increasingly uncertain this summer.
Arsenal have reshaped their attacking options significantly during the window, with Gabriel Martinelli also moving towards an Al Hilal departure.
Jesus’ move to Barcelona now gives the Gunners another permanent outgoing deal as Andrea Berta continues to reduce Arteta’s senior squad before the deadline.
The €10m fee is considerably lower than the £45m Arsenal paid Manchester City four years ago, but Jesus had entered the final year of his contract and was no longer central to Arteta’s plans.
Provided Monday’s medical is completed successfully, Barcelona will become the next chapter of the Brazilian’s career.
