We are at that stage of the summer where we start clamoring for literally anything to tide ourselves over. We gaslight our group chats with names that sound semi-hip, we talk about underlying numbers that don’t really say anything, and we dust off our yearly hit of ‘Rashford could be good for a season.’
It’s all a bit silly, and you know it.
