Premier League champion set for LaLiga switch
LaLiga champions Barcelona have reportedly agreed to sign Gabriel Jesus from Premier League holders Arsenal.
Transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano claims Arsenal will receive a €10million ($16million AUD) package plus add-ons from Barca.
A medical is booked for Monday as Brazil international Jesus prepares to swap London for Barcelona, who had pursued Atletico Madrid star Julian Alvarez without success.
Jesus joined Arsenal from Manchester City in 2022, and the 29-year-old scored 32 goals and tallied 22 assists in 123 appearances across all competitions for the Gunners.
The Brazilian scored six goals and supplied two assists in all competitions during Arsenal’s Premier League-winning campaign last term.

Premier League champions Arsenal are poised to signature a record-breaking fee for Gabriel Martinelli from Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal.
According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Al-Hilal have reached an agreement with Arsenal for a fee worth $113million AUD.

Everton’s big transfer U-turn
Everton have pulled the plug on a deal to sell young gun Harrison Armstrong to Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest.
Liverpool-born Everton academy graduate Armstrong looked set to join Forest in a $75.6million transfer but according to widespread reports in the UK, the Toffees completed a U-turn.
Why? Because of the supporter unrest, with fans threatening to “riot” if the club cashed in on the talented England Under-19 international winger.
Now, The Athletic’s David Ornstein reports Everton have an agreement with Tottenham to sell Iliman Ndiaye.
Everton – who are reportedly nearing a deal to sign Jack Grealish on loan from Manchester City – have given the green light to part with Ndiaye, while Tottenham’s Richarlison is set to re-join the Toffees in a separate deal from Spurs.
Richarlison was a fan favourite at Everton, scoring 53 goals in all competitions across four years at the club before making a $113.5million AUD move to Tottenham in 2022.
