ATLANTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Atlanta Falcons on Sunday announced their 53-man roster for the 2026 regular season, which kicks off Sep. 13 in Pittsburgh against the Steelers.
The Falcons made several moves to reach the NFL’s regular-season roster limit. Wide receiver Beaux Collins was placed on reserve/injured with a designation to return, while defensive back Darren Hall was placed on reserve/injured.
Atlanta also waived/injured defensive end Keshawn Banks, placed defensive lineman Anterio Thompson on the reserve/non-football injury list and placed defensive end James Pearce Jr. on the reserve/suspended list.
The team activated defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. from the active/physically unable to perform list.
In a separate move pending physicals, the [Falcons acquired](https://x.com/AtlantaFalcons/status/2094184704710783471) defensive lineman Gervon Dexter Sr. from the Chicago Bears for defensive back Clark Phillips III and a 2027 fifth-round draft pick. Dexter, 24, was selected by Chicago in the second round of the 2023 NFL draft out of Florida. He was the 53rd overall pick.
