Herbig Enjoys Week Zero

Nick Herbig is one of us. He spent his Saturday enjoying college football’s return, sharing this photo of him taking in Week Zero from his many, many screens. TCU versus North Carolina was front and center with the caption “We are so back.”

In true college football fashion, this one ended in an upset. After getting blown out by TCU last year and facing plenty of criticism since being hired, Bill Belichick’s Tar Heels knocked off the Horned Frogs, 15-10. TCU entered the game as nearly double-digit favorites. After winning only four games a year ago, Year 2 of the Belichick era is off to a stronger start.

Queen Wants Snow Game

Patrick Queen is ready for a winter wonderland. He shared this photo on his Instagram story playing in a 2024 snow game against the Cleveland Browns with the caption “Definitely need another snow game in my life.”

One that hopefully comes with a better outcome. Pittsburgh lost that snow game to Cleveland, 24-19. Queen will have to be patient for his next chance, but the December slate has potential for one or two snowy forecasts. In December and January, the Steelers play three games at home with the Week 18 finale played in Baltimore.

Beckham Shows His Speed

Odell Beckham Jr. still has wheels. Praised by New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh for doing enough to make an NFL roster, Beckham showed his speed on this deep target in the team’s preseason finale. Per this ESPN article, Beckham reached a top speed of 20.54 mph, second-fastest of any player on offense or defense in the game.

Beckham made his return to the Giants in June, not only reuniting with the franchise but with Harbaugh after spending time together in Baltimore. Earlier today, he officially made New York’s roster.
