With less than two days left in the transfer window, Arsenal are working quickly to finalise any potential incomings and outgoings before the September 1 deadline. Gunners sporting director Andrea Berta typically likes to leave it late in order to get the best deals over the line, and this summer has been no different.
The Premier League champions have strengthened by adding five new players to their ranks: Piero Hincapie in a £34.5million permanent deal, Illan Meslier as a free agent, Christos Tzolis for £34m, Bruno Guimaraes for £75m, and Ezri Konsa for £55m.
Leandro Trossard has gone in the opposite direction, with Gabriel Martinelli following the forward out the door shortly. But several more deals are expected to be announced in the coming hours.

Alvarez returned to Atletico Madrid training on Sunday despite ongoing speculation surrounding his future. The Argentine, who has been one of Arsenal’s top targets in recent months, missed three team training sessions last week because of what the club called an “indisposition”, before training alone on Friday.
He was also left out of Diego Simeone’s squad for Saturday’s 3-1 win at Sevilla. It remains to be seen whether his re-introduction to the squad is a sign of the 26-year-old having made a decision to remain in the Spanish capital beyond the transfer deadline.
Alvarez had made it clear early on that he was intent on joining Barcelona this summer. But, after Atletico blocked him from moving to their La Liga rivals, Arsenal emerged as the likeliest destination, with Atleti open to a £128m sale of their disgruntled talisman.
It was claimed that he was given until Sunday to make a decision over whether he wanted to join Arsenal or stay, though recent reports claimed Alvarez had no intention of returning to England.

Gabriel Jesus is reportedly close to completing a dream move to Barcelona. The Brazilian, 29, has been linked with an exit throughout this summer, having been deemed surplus to requirements by Arteta.
Fabrizio Romano has now reported that the Gunners have agreed an £8.57m offer from the La Liga champions for Jesus’ signature. Add-ons are also included in the deal, as per the Italian journalist.
Jesus is scheduled to undergo a medical on Monday ahead of making the move to Camp Nou. The former Manchester City ace has been training away from Arteta's main squad after being made available for transfer, and had initially been tipped for a move to Napoli.
