Josh Jacobs landed on the commissioner’s exempt list Sunday. That and Micah Parsons‘ reserve/PUP list shift headlined the Packers’ transactions; here are the rest of the moves Green Bay made to reach the 53-man limit:
The Packers will use both of their allotted IR-return moves. Those will cut Green Bay’s return designations to six for the rest of the regular season. During a year in which the Packers bid farewell to both Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks, Williams — a 2025 third-round pick — will be out for at least four games.
Musgrave and Riley will not count against Green Bay’s available activations, but both are also out at least four games. A neck injury kept Musgrave out for all of training camp, and he will need more recovery time. Like the recovered Tucker Kraft, Musgrave — a 2023 second-round pick — is entering a contract year.
