Liverpool faces a huge end to the summer transfer window, with a potential deal for Yankuba Minteh on the cards, and a possible wildcard signing

The end of the summer transfer window is nearly here, with just one day remaining for Liverpool to get some deals over the line, both in and out of the club.
It has been a challenging market for the Reds to work in, considering the restrictions on spending following last summer's spending splurge, as well as the options available to the team.
There have been three signings so far, with an expectation that Bradley Barcola will become the fourth from PSG, but the moves don't necessarily stop there.
There are still several areas of concern for Andoni Iraola and his team, which could well be addressed in the market before it closes, with Liverpool clearly looking at options for players to move in and out of the club.
So, with that said, here's a look at a potential dream end to the transfer window for the Merseyside outfit, as the transfer clock continues to tick down.
Yankuba Minteh signs

Liverpool is clearly on the lookout for a new right-winger, and Yankuba Minteh remains the best possible option who ticks all the boxes for the side.
While he may not have the output of Mohamed Salah, he has Premier League experience, and at 22, there is the potential for him to grow further in the years ahead.
A move could prove to be expensive, and there may be concerns about the lack of an immediate impact due to his injury, but Minteh could be the ideal solution to a right-wing issue that has been present for the past few months at Anfield.
Midfield move
Plenty of people have been calling out for Liverpool to sign a midfielder that may be a bit more defensively-minded than the current options at Iraola's disposal, and that is founded in some of what the fans have already seen this season.
The Reds have clearly struggled with defending counterattacks because of the offensive mindset of the likes of Dominik Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch, and Alexis Mac Allister.
Signing a specialist number six may help solve that, even though it would be something of a wildcard signing, after Iraola claimed that new personnel wouldn't solve the issue that the team faces.
Several options could be on the cards if the Reds enter the market, with AS Monaco's Lamine Camara among those who have been touted as a possible arrival.
Right-back arrival
There are also clear concerns over the right-backs available to Iraola, with Conor Bradley's injury and the form of Jeremie Frimpong raising the question of whether another signing is needed there.
Exactly who could be available is unclear, especially so late in the market, though Liverpool has been touted with a possible return for Trent Alexander-Arnold, which could be a blockbuster move for the Reds at this stage.
Exits

There needs to be some balancing of the roster before the transfer deadline rolls around, and that means some possible exits on the cards.
Harvey Elliott is a prime candidate, after his loan move to Aston Villa failed to become permanent, with reports claiming that talks are ongoing over a switch to Valencia.
Beyond him, Stefan Bajcetic looks likely to join Celta Vigo, the club he came through as a youngster before he made the move to Liverpool.
Then there are questions over the future of Cody Gakpo, who has been linked with a transfer to Manchester City, though Iraola may be keen to keep the star, considering his impact on the team so far.
Giorgi Mamardashvili is another who could leave, while other late switches cannot be ruled out either, to help bring balance to the team.
