Transfer news LIVE as Celtic and Rangers plus Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen eye signings

Jesus heading for Barca

Gabriel Jesus looks on his way out of Arsenal with Barcelona closing in on a deal for the striker.

The Brazilian has seen his gametime at the Emirates dramatically reduced in recent seasons, starting just nine games last term, and hasn't been involved at all in their opening two Premier League games this season.

He has just a year to run on his deal and multiple reports now indicate Barca are closing in on a cut-price £10m deal for his services.

Kevin Kelsy deal on the brink

Kevin Kelsy of Portland Timbers

Kevin Kelsy has travelled to Europe to seal his £9 million move to Rangers.

The Ibrox side has agreed an outline deal with Portland Timbers for their striker. The Venezuelan international is now travelling to Europe for a medical.

If that goes through without a hitch, the big-money deal, which includes a number of add-ons should go through before Thursday’s 5pm deadline. Record Sport exclusively broke the story earlier this month that Kelsy was the man who Rangers had targeted after Youssef Chermiti’s injury.

McInnes, speaking after the Aberdeen win, admitted that they had identified their top target and the delay was outwith their control. McInnes said: “In terms of ones in, it's been a while now since Youssef went down against Hibs, so we're really keen and eager to get the striker in that we want.

“Again, it's taken a bit longer, but it's not reasons the club are guilty for. We all know the importance of bringing in that quality at the top end of the pitch.”

McInnes has confirmed Rangers don’t currently have any offers on the table for Nico Raskin.

The Belgian World Cup star has not been involved in the last couple of Rangers’ squad. The midfielder was left out of the Conference League exit at Jablonec amid on-going transfer speculation and didn’t travel to Aberdeen either.

McInnes said: “In terms of outs, I don't think there's anything imminent on that. There's certainly not been any offers for Nico, if that's the next question.

“Obviously, it's normally the last couple of days of the window when things really crank up, so we need to be primed for that.”

Raskin has been heavily linked with Real Betis and Villarreal in this window. Former Rangers boss Danny Rohl has been linked with a move for Djeidi Gassama.

The Red Bull Salzburg boss worked with him at Sheffield Wednesday and Ibrox. Ibrox sources do not expect the winger to sell the 22-year-old to the Austrians.

Rangers are looking to get a number of players out before the close of the window.

The likes of Lyall Cameron, Ross McCausland and Connor Barron are all available for the right price.

Striker Bojan Miovski could also leave if Rangers close a deal for Kelsy.

The Macedonian international could go out on-loan ahead of the deadline.

Van den Berg on way for Celtic medical

PSV midfielder Joel van den Berg will travel to Scotland as he closes in on his £3.4m switch to Celtic.

The Netherlands U19 skipper is itching for the chance of first team football in Glasgow's east end after turning heads within Jong PSV.

The 19-year-old will sign a contract to 2030 with the club's pursuit of Crystal Palace star Justin Devenny viewed as a separate deal.
