Curtis Jones has already been added to the Inter Milan history books after making Serie A debut following a $41 million (£30 million) transfer exit from Liverpool this summer

Curtis Jones, who left Liverpool in a transfer deal worth around $41 million (£30 million) last week, made his Inter Milan debut on Sunday in a 1-0 win over Cagliari.
Turkish star Hakan Calhanoglu scored the only goal of the game nine minutes in, with Jones coming off the the bench for the final half an hour in place of the Croatian Petar Sucic.
With the former Manchester City defender John Stones coming on for Manuel Akanji a couple of minutes later, the pair made history. That meant that Inter had two English players on the pitch at the same time.
"It's a club that I've wanted to join for a while now so I'm excited," Jones said in his first interview after leaving Liverpool.
"I'm a Scouse kid who came all the way through [at Liverpool] but I'm at a point now when I want to take the next step and I think this is the perfect club."
Later, taking to Instagram, he also penned an emotional message to Liverpool fans, thanking the club for his time there.

"After 16 years, it's time to say goodbye," he wrote alongside a picture of himself lifting the Premier League trophy in 2025.
"This club is all I've ever known. I came here as a kid and I'm leaving as a man with a family of my own, which probably puts into perspective just how much of my life I've spent here.
"Liverpool will always be a massive part of me. I came here as a kid with a dream, and I'm leaving having lived it."
Jones wanted a bigger role at Liverpool and believes that he will get that with Inter under Cristian Chivu.

Alongside Calhanoglu and Sucic, though, Inter also has the likes of Piotr Zielinski, Nicolo Barella, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Federico Dimarco who play in midfield.
Jones will reunite with Liverpool at the San Siro in the Champions League, with that fixture coming in mid-January. Inter will also face Real Madrid, Club Brugge, Shakhtar Donetsk, Feyenoord, Stuttgart, Borussia Dortmund and Slovan Bratislava.
Liverpool.com says: Jones would have been useful for the Reds this season, but the hope has to be that Trey Nyoni can step up. In pre-season and when he came on against Nottingham Forest, he really impressed.
