[**Everton**](https://readeverton.com/) **could soon have clarity over two major transfers, with Richarlison’s decision potentially having a direct impact on whether Iliman Ndiaye leaves for Tottenham.**
Spurs have made Ndiaye their number one target and, according to Fabrizio Romano, have already agreed terms with the Senegal international and his representatives.
Tottenham are also ready to proceed with Everton, but Romano says Richarlison’s position is now important.
The Brazilian has been linked with a return to Merseyside and, if he accepts the move, Romano believes Ndiaye can become a Tottenham player.
If Richarlison decides against returning, however, Ndiaye’s position could change. Romano says that could leave open the possibility of a different route to Tottenham or a move elsewhere, with Manchester City among the clubs to have shown interest.
There is no immediate suggestion yet that Everton have agreed to sell Ndiaye, or that Richarlison has agreed to return.
David Moyes was also clear after Saturday’s draw at Bournemouth that he does not want to lose his better players.
“I don’t think we can afford to lose any players,” said Moyes, before adding: “We certainly don’t want to lose our better ones.”
Ndiaye clearly falls into that category.
But if Everton are prepared to sanction his departure, Romano’s update suggests the Richarlison decision could be central to what happens next.
