Liverpool still have a lot of changes that they need to make to their ranks this summer.
Most fans expected the Anfield outfit to perform a lot better than they did last term but, since they failed to meet expectations, changes are clearly needed.

In fact, many people believed that, after their fifth-place finish in the Premier League last term, another rebuild would be on it's way to Anfield.
And, while three new players have been brought in, many more changes are still needed before they can even realistically start thinking about challenging for silverware again.
So, that's why it's good that Liverpool now look ready to strike a deal for one of their players.
Liverpool are ready to agree a deal with Valencia for Harvey Elliott
Harvey Elliott's last couple of seasons have certainly not gone how most people expected them to.
When Jurgen Klopp was at the helm, the Englishman was seen as one of Liverpool's best players and was often one of the first names on Liverpool's team sheet.
However, for one reason or another, things just haven't worked out for him under Arne Slot or Andoni Iraola and now, he's looking likely to exit L4 this summer.
A whole host of clubs have been linked with a potential move for the Englishman but now, as per an update from Spanish outlet Deportes Cope Valencia, Liverpool are ready to strike a deal with the six-time Champions League winners for the Englishman.
"Valencia speeds up for ELLIOTT," they shared via X.
"Trying to advance the loan of the Liverpool player, on which they've been working for days. The clubs want to make it happen, but the key remains the player's salary."

Harvey Elliott will have one last chance to save his career
Last season, when Elliott was shipped out on loan to Aston Villa, everyone thought that would be the end of his time as a Liverpool player.
However, since Unai Emery didn't want to make his deal permanent, the 23-year-old only played in nine games for the Villans across the whole season.
This meant that, upon the expiry of his loan deal, the Englishman was able to return to Liverpool and, even though Iraola said that every player was going to be treated as if they were a new signing, Elliott still failed to impress.
Most fans were rather disappointed about this as, with the poor performances that Florian Wirtz put in last term and the fact that Mohamed Salah has now left, there is plenty of room for Elliott to fit into Liverpool's plans.
But, whether it's his confidence or something else, nothing is clicking for the former Fulham man.
So, whichever team he ends up joining on loan this summer, it'll almost certainly be his last chance to get his career back on track.
Here's hoping that the "outstanding" midfielder can re-find the form that he showed in the Under-21 Euro's last summer.
