Chelsea are scouring the market in pursuit of a replacement for Enzo Fernandez, and as things stand, Lamine Camara is the priority target. But he’s not the only player Chelsea could target.
With less than 48 hours to go in the transfer window, Chelsea could still lose Fernandez and have to replace the World Cup winner. It was reported last week that Chelsea have compiled a four-man list.

TalkSPORT say that Camara is at the top of that list. Filipe Luis has underlined his desire to keep the Senegal star but admitted on Sunday that anything can happen in the final days of the transfer market.
Adam Wharton and Alex Scott remain long-term targets for Chelsea, but Scott looks set to remain after Marco Rose declared himself “120%” sure he would stay. Then, there is midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
Jose Mourinho sends Chelsea a message regarding Camavinga
In Real Madrid’s first two games, Mourinho only used Camavinga as a very late sub. A combined 22 minutes of action, and amid interest from Chelsea, €60m-rated Camavinga might have been tempted.

But on Sunday, Real Madrid beat Malaga 4-0 and Camavinga not only started the game, but he ended it too. Clearly, Mourinho was sending a message to the Frenchman that he remains a part of his side.
However, it could have also been disguised as a message to his old club Chelsea. Camavinga is not for sale, and he remains a key part of the Portuguese manager’s plans moving into the new campaign.
What Mourinho said about Camavinga after Madrid’s 4-0 win
Mourinho went a step further after the match and heaped praise on the France international after the game, telling reporters just how impressed he was with Camavinga’s performance on Sunday afternoon.
It’s been a great start for Mourinho at Madrid, winning three games from three this season and he said about Camavinga after the match: “Camavinga has done great today. I liked his performance a lot”.
Camavinga stance on leaving Real Madrid before deadline
Amid the reports that Camavinga is on Chelsea’s radar and could become a possibility before the end of the window, Camavinga’s stance on leaving Madrid was reported in Spanish media – he wants to stay.
It is claimed that Camavinga has decided to remain at the Bernabeu until the January window at the very least. Chelsea and Newcastle were among his suitors, but Camavinga looks set to remain at Valdebebas.
