Chelsea have sent a firm response to Liverpool amid a reported enquiry for Estevao in the final days of the summer transfer window.
Liverpool are on the lookout for a potential replacement for Cody Gakpo, who appears to be closing in on a transfer to Manchester City. Crystal Palace’s Ismaila Sarr has emerged as a possibility, although the Eagles will not let the player go without a fight.
It seems that Liverpool have put the feelers out for other potential targets, including Estevao. According to journalist Francois Plateau, the Reds have made contact with Chelsea over a potential move, but were told that the Brazilian is not for sale.

It is added that Liverpool are now "weighing up" making a move to try and test Chelsea’s resolve over their stance.
Estevao has been a bright spark for Chelsea over the last year, despite his struggles with injury. Last season saw the 19-year-old score eight goals and provide four assists in 36 appearances in all competitions
So far this season, he has made two appearances, coming off the bench in the season opener against Fulham, and playing 80 minutes of the League Cup win vs Luton Town. He was an unused substitute for Sunday’s 4-3 Premier League win over Brighton and Hove Albion.

Estevao joined Chelsea from Brazilian side Palmeiras last summer. A hamstring injury disrupted the second half of the season and ruled him out of the Brazil squad for this summer's World Cup.
He was back in time to take part in pre-season in preparation for the new campaign. Chelsea have however been warned by club legend Eden Hazard to give the teenager time to continue to settle into English football.
"Estevao is still young, so you have to give him time," he said. "His first season was pretty good. He's from Brazil too, so he has that natural quality on the ball - he can bring flair and pace.

"I like him. It's a shame he couldn't take part in the World Cup, it's sad for him, but I hope he comes back even stronger."
