Manchester United and Arsenal’s transfer plans could have an impact on the future of Newcastle United star Nick Woltemade. The Germany international has faced an uncertain future this summer, with Juventus emerging as a potential destination.
The Magpies only signed Woltemade from Stuttgart 12 months ago in a deal believed to be worth around £69million, and he is now being tipped to move to Italy.
Woltemade has scored 11 goals during his time on Tyneside, and there have been reports that a loan deal could be on the cards for the 24-year-old before the transfer window closes on Tuesday night.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Juventus have made contact with Newcastle over a potential season-long loan deal for Woltemade.
The report indicates that Woltemade is one of two strikers on Juventus' radar, alongside Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee.
It has been reported that Juventus are in the market for a new striker as they brace themselves for the likely exit of Jonathan David, who has been strongly linked with a transfer to Atletico Madrid.
The Canada international has been listed as a possible replacement for Julian Alvarez, who has emerged as a target for both Arsenal and Barcelona this summer, with it now appearing increasingly likely that the Argentina international could depart the Spanish capital ahead of Tuesday's deadline.

David had previously been linked with a switch to Newcastle during his spell at Lille, before eventually departing on a free transfer to join Juventus 12 months ago.
Regarding Zirkzee, who has been strongly tipped to depart Man United this summer, the Netherlands international has similarly been connected with both Juventus and Atletico, a situation that could be influenced by Woltemade's potential exit.
There have been reports that Fiorentina had an interest in signing Zirkzee, however, there have been updates suggesting that a deal is no longer on the table.
Newcastle have experienced a hectic transfer window this summer, with a string of high-profile departures alongside fresh arrivals.
Anthony Gordon, Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali have all departed St James' Park this summer, while Nico Gonzalez, Bazoumana Toure, Amar Dedic, Aladji Bamba, Lukas Hornicek, Sean Steur and Ewen Jaouen have all made their way to Tyneside.
