Manchester loves a fighter – and new signing Allan Elias wants to show he can pack a punch at City.
The exciting winger joins from Brazilian side Palmeiras and has signed a five-year contract, subject to international clearance, that will take him through to the summer of 2031.
His journey hasn’t been easy, in fact he’s had to lock horns with adversity on his way to the top.
He left home at the tender age of 15, swapping his city of Florianópolis and boyhood side Figueirense for San Paolo – the most populous city in Brazil - and 12-time Série A team Palmeiras.
He called it an arduous process but he rolled with the punches and it more than paid off as he became both a regular and favourite for the ‘Verdao’.
Now he’s swapping one big city for another and he’ll be looking to come out swinging as he locks horns with England and Europe’s biggest and best in the sky blue shirt.
Hopefully, Allan will have them out for the count!
