There’s just no sugar-coating it: Last season was an incredibly rough one for the Silver and Black, going 3-14. But this season offers plenty of reasons for hope in a resurgence: the hiring of coach Klint Kubiak, the previous offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks, who won Super Bowl LX; drafting quarterback Fernando Mendoza, the Heisman Trophy winner who took the Indiana Hoosiers all the way to a national championship; and the promotion of Rod Leonard to defensive coordinator. This month’s home opener on Sept. 13 against the Miami Dolphins is a chance for the Raiders to start the season out right. Come cheer them on.

Few current sports teams have the buzz of Las Vegas’ WNBA team, which won titles in 2022, 2023 and 2025. (With one more win, the squad would tie for the most titles in WNBA history). They’re on a tear again this year, thanks to the superb play of A’ja Wilson, Jackie Young, Chelsea Gray, Jewell Lloyd and so many others. Head coach Becky Hammon has cemented herself as an integral part of this near-dynasty, and tickets to the team’s two remaining home games this month (Sept. 20 and 22 against the Seattle Storm and Los Angeles Sparks, respectively) may be hard to come by. If you’ve never seen an Aces game before, what are you waiting for?

What a roller coaster ride for Sin City’s National Hockey League team in 2025! After firing head coach Bruce Cassidy with only eight games left in the regular season, the Golden Knights went on to absolutely dominate the rest of the way, surging all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. They lost to the Carolina Hurricanes, but the message was clear: Do not ever count this team out!
Upcoming Knights action includes preseason games Sept. 24 and 26 against the Utah Mammoth and San Jose Sharks before the home opener Sept. 29 against the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Knights will be a somewhat different-looking squad in 2026, seeing the departures of Keegan Kolesar, Pavel Dorofeyev and Colton Sissons. But with star goalies Adin Hill and Carter Hart both making returns and the team’s defense-first strategy, look for this team to pick up 2026 where it left off—in the win column.

By far one of the best tickets in town, this team’s games at the home of the Raiders offer a pro ball-like experience at a fraction of the cost. Best of all, the team is highly rated in its conference, finishing its 2025 season with a record of 10-4 and a 6-2 mark in the Mountain West Conference. (A 17-10 loss in the Frisco Bowl to the Ohio Bobcats did little to dim the enthusiasm over this team’s overall performance.) Whenever this powerhouse is playing at home, trust us: You want to be there.
