One of Trevoh Chalobah’s former teammates at Chelsea could swiftly reunite with him at Como.

Como signed Chalobah from Chelsea earlier in the transfer window and were also interested in Liam Delap.

Delap joined Nottingham Forest in the end, but there is still a possibility of Como landing another Chelsea star before the market closes.

Como considering Robert Sanchez

Como could be about to offer Robert Sanchez an escape route out of Stamford Bridge, with the Spaniard set to become Chelsea’s third-choice goalkeeper.

According to the reliable Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A club are currently considering making a move for Sanchez.

However, for the time being, their priority remains a striker after failing to sign Delap.

Sanchez started the season as Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper, but after two bad mistakes against Fulham in the Premier League’s opening weekend, Xabi Alonso decided to replace him.

Following the Fulham game, Chelsea signed Emiliano Martinez, who is now Alonso’s No.1. Not wanting to block Mike Penders’ pathway to becoming the No.1 in the future, Chelsea have informed Sanchez that Penders will be Martinez’s deputy as he is groomed to eventually take over and warned the Spaniard that he is at risk of becoming third choice if he remains at Stamford Bridge.

Therefore, it would be in Sanchez’s best interest to leave Chelsea and join Como if the opportunity presents itself.
