**Bradley Barcola has revealed Andoni Iraola’s influence in his Liverpool move.**
Barcola became the third arrival of the summer transfer window at Anfield on Monday when he signed from Paris Saint-Germain in a £123 million package.
The France international penned a five-year contract to bring the Reds’ pursuit of him to a successful conclusion after several weeks of negotiation.
But Barcola, who will wear the No.29 shirt, explained how new head coach Iraola played a key role in convincing him to make the move to Merseyside.
He said: “I was able to talk to him several times.
“He told me that my quality brought a real plus to this team and he was counting on me, that he had confidence in me.
“That’s what made me want to join this team, because when you have the confidence of a coach, you can only be good on the pitch.
“So it’s a very good thing to play with such a good coach.”
