Gill Clark Gill Clark is the site manager of Barca Blaugranes and joined in 2017. She has worked in sports media as a writer and editor for the best part of two decades and has been in love with the beautiful game for as long as she can remember.
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick said last season that the club needed to revamp their attack in the summer and the Catalan giants have certainly made plenty of changes to their frontline.
Robert Lewandowski departed once his contract expired, Ferran Torres was sold to Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona opted not to take up the buy option in Marcus Rashford’s loan deal.
The Catalans have also brought in Anthony Gordon from Newcastle, Karim Adeyemi from Dortmund and are set to complete a transfer for Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus before the window closes tomorrow.
Flick also has young Egypt international Hamza Abdelkarim as an option for the first team this season, along with regular starters Raphinha and Lamine Yamal.
