We’re just a day away from the end of the summer transfer window, and keeping up with all the latest comings and goings isn’t easy – so we’re here with or latest evening round-up of some of the biggest new Premier League transfer rumours to keep you in the loop, starting with a story for the Chelsea fans reading.

A lot of you will already have seen the stories linking the Blues with highly-rated Senegal international Lamine Camara, but according to sources in France they have another midfielder in their sights – Roma’s Manu Koné.

According to Foot Mercato, whose story is backed up journalist Fabrice Hawkins, the 25-year-old, who spent the summer at the World Cup with France, has “attracted the attention” of both Chelsea and Atlético Madrid. Roma, for their part, have “no intention” of selling Koné on the cheap. It will supposedly take a bid in the €50-60m (up to £51m) range to prise him away from the Serie A side.
The report notes that Camara is Chelsea’s “priority” but suggests that discussions over a deal for the Monaco midfielder are only at a preliminary stage, with Koné apparently an alternative should those negotiations go nowhere.
The 3AM Verdict: Everything we’ve heard suggests that talks over Camara are progressing positively, and we suspect that it’s more likely they sign him rather than Koné – but Chelsea have been monitoring the Roma man, and it’s certainly possible that he’s their Plan B.

Over to a story from Sport Witness now, which suggests that Aston Villa and Everton could make a late move for Bologna winger Jonathan Rowe, a former England Under-21 star who seems certain to leave his current club before the window closes.
Apparently Atalanta have been attempting to sign Rowe but have yet to reach an agreement, with the hold-up seemingly putting the Premier League pair “in the picture,” although the article notes that it’s possible that Bologna are using past interest from the two teams in order to create an “auction” in the hope of pushing the price up.
Precisely what that price might be isn’t revealed, but it’s noted that Everton had a bid rejected earlier in the transfer window. Rowe seems to be pushing to go somewhere – he was left out of Atalanta’s most recent match day squad.
The 3AM Verdict: There’s no suggestion of formal negotiations at this point, which makes us wonder whether there’s sincere interest – especially from Aston Villa, who have been linked a few times but who don’t appear to have made an approach for Rowe at any stage this summer. Everton could certainly be tempted if the price was right, especially with Iliman Ndiaye leaving.

We’ll wrap up with an eyebrow-raising story from TEAMtalk which alleges that Tottenham Hotspur are “considering” the signing of a new goalkeeper to replace Antonín Kinsky – with Chelsea’s Robert Sánchez apparently one of the options.
Kinsky had been earmarked as the starter for the season and recently signed a new long-term contract, but Spurs are now said to be “assessing” the possibility of signing Sánchez, who has himself been demoted to a reserve role after Chelsea signed Emiliano Martínez. The Blues are said to have “made [Sánchez] available” as a result of that deal.
There’s no suggestion that any talks have yet taken place, nor any word on the likely asking price, but apparently Roberto De Zerbi’s connection with the Spaniard – they worked together at Brighton & Hove Albion – could be key to getting a deal done.
The 3AM Verdict: We’re raising a very, very sceptical eyebrow in the direction of this story – we’ve seen no corroboration from more reliable sources, and it would be a major surprise. But given the way that Spurs have approached this window, just how shocking would it really be?
