**Accrington Stanley have signed winger Joel Catesby from Everton on a season-long loan.**
The 19-year-old has yet to make a first team appearance for the Toffees and this loan move is the first of his career.
Catesby signed his first professional contract at Everton during the summer of 2024.
Accrington head coach John Doolan said: "Joel is a very good player, he can beat a man, he has pace, and he sees the game. I have watched him over a period of time and it's a different option for us.
"It will be a big part of his development going forward, to step into men's football and play for three points on a Tuesday and Saturday.
"He knows he has to be patient, but he is definitely going to add quality to our squad."
