The Jaguars cut three quarterbacks on Sunday and two of them returned to the practice squad on Monday.
The team announced that they have signed Nick Mullens and Joey Aguilar to their auxiliary roster. The Jaguars traded for Quinn Ewers ahead of moving to a 53-man roster and he is the only quarterback on the active roster other than Trevor Lawrence.
Mullens played in five games for the Jaguars last season and he’s made 20 NFL starts for the 49ers, Browns and Vikings. Aguilar signed with the Jags after going undrafted out of Tennessee this year.
The Jaguars also signed DT T.J. Bollers, OL Geron Christian Sr., WR Tim Jones, LB Jack Kiser, LB Jalen McLeod, CB Jabbar Muhammad, OL Jimto Obidegwu, WR Trebor Peña, S Cam’Ron Silmon-Craig, RB J’Mari Taylor, WR Austin Trammell, WR Michael Wortham, and OL Kilian Zierer to their practice squad.
