**Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye is on the verge of a move to Manchester City.**
Ndiaye had previously been in talks over a switch to Tottenham before Enzo Maresca’s side made a late push to sign him before the transfer deadline.
The proposed deal was set to see Richarlison secure an emotional return to Merseyside from the north Londoners as part of a separate agreement.
However City have now agreed a deal worth £60 million upfront with £5M in add-ons for the Senegalese after failing to land Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo.
Ndiaye’s departure from Hill Dickinson Stadium is expected to smooth the Blues’ path to secure Jack Grealish on a second season-long loan deal.
David Moyes admitted that [no decision on a renewed pursuit of Grealish had been made](https://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/everton-fc/67637-latest-on-man-citys-ndiaye-interest-confirmed/) but is expected to accelerate before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
Ndiaye leaves Everton after scoring 17 goals in 74 appearances which included the last at Goodison Park and the first at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The 26-year-old is set to become the second Everton attacking departure before the window shuts with Beto closing in on a return to Serie A.
Fiorentina are set to finalise a permanent transfer worth £15M for the Guinea-Bissau forward, who travelled to Italy to complete formalities on the deal.
Everton, meanwhile, have confirmed that underused left-back Adam Aznou is returning to Spain on a season-long loan with La Liga newcomers Malaga.
