Everton have just confirmed that fullback Adam Aznou will be going to La Liga’s Malaga on loan for the rest of the 2026-27 season.
The 20-year-old joined Everton in July 2025, but has struggled to impress manager David Moyes and has only made two appearances for the first team - getting an assist in half an hour of play in the FA Cup last season and then eight minutes against Preston last week in the Carabao Cup win.
He returns to La Liga where he was a product of Barcelona’s famed La Masia youth academy, spending three years with the Spanish giants, before heading to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023. He is also a senior international with Morocco but did not make their World Cup squad after barely receiving any playing time.
Aznou now heads to newly-promoted La Liga side Malaga for the remainder of their season where the Toffees will hope he gets regular playing time to develop into a starter for the Blues eventually.
