With just over 24 hours to go for the transfer window to slam shut, it remains to be seen if Liverpool conduct any business.
The Reds finally announced the capture of Bradley Barcola earlier today, who is set to be available for the Premier League clash against Ipswich Town on Friday.
In terms of incomings, it appears as if Liverpool will not look to bring anyone else in after it was confirmed that they will retain Cody Gakpo at least until January.
However, some of their other players have emerged as transfer targets before the deadline.
And now, Paul Joyce of The Times has confirmed that the Reds turned down a derisory offer for Trey Nyoni from Nottingham Forest.

According to the aforementioned report, Liverpool turned down an offer worth £30m for the young midfielder.
The Reds view Nyoni as an integral part of Andoni Iraola’s plans and have no intention of parting ways with him, with his long-term future set to be at Anfield.

The Englishman featured regularly in pre-season and impressed the new Liverpool boss with his performances, so much so that Iraola sanctioned Curtis Jones’ sale without signing a replacement.
Nyoni is set to get a lot of game time this season and always looked like one of the untouchables of the squad. We almost have to respect Forest’s audacity to actually go ahead and make a bid for him, let alone at this stage of the summer transfer window.
