MEXICO CITY -- The National Football League announced Monday that Mexican rock trio The Warning will headline the halftime show, presented by American Express, during the 2026 NFL Mexico City Game between the Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Nov. 22 at 7:20 p.m. local time (8:20 p.m. ET) from Estadio Banorte.
The Mexico City performance will be part of a record seven halftime shows presented by American Express and staged across the 2026 NFL International Games — a lineup of live musical performances spanning seven countries and four continents — as the league plays its most international games ever in a single season.
Formed in Monterrey, Mexico, sisters Daniela “Dany,” Paulina “Pau” and Alejandra “Ale” Villarreal have emerged as one of modern rock’s most exciting forces. The Warning has built a global following through their explosive live performances, acclaimed releases and relentless touring, with career streams surpassing 785 million and a Latin GRAMMY® nomination for Best Rock Song in 2024. Their fifth album Everything’s Falling arrived August 28, featuring the chart-topping single “Kerosene” which made history by reaching #1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart – making The Warning the first Mexican band and first all-women band ever to claim the top spot.

The Warning’s full halftime performance will be broadcast live in Mexico on TelevisaUnivision’s Canal 5 and ESPN.
Limited-edition merchandise celebrating The Warning’s performance at the 2026 NFL Mexico City Game will be available at NFL Shops on Gameday and League events during the week.

The Warning joins the previously announced lineup of international halftime performers, including the Jonas Brothers at the 2026 NFL Melbourne Game on Thursday, Sept. 10 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground; Pedro Sampaio and Ricky Martin at the 2026 NFL Rio Game on Sunday, Sept. 27 at Maracanã Stadium, and Ayra Starr at the 2026 NFL London Game on Sunday, Oct. 11 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Additional halftime performers across the NFL’s 2026 international slate will be announced at a later date.
