Everton Reach Agreement to Sign Jack Grealish From Man City

Grealish was of course with the Toffees for the 2025-26 season, but his campaign was cut short due to injury.

The English winger recorded two goals and six assists in 22 appearances for Everton before a foot injury ended his season.

Grealish has been working his way back to full fitness over the summer, and he's been involved with Manchester City in their opening games of the season.

Now the creative winger looks to be heading back to Merseyside once again, and it's a deal that felt like it was always going to happen at some point during the summer transfer window.

Grealish is set to undergo a medical on Tuesday morning ahead of completing his move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium once again.

Grealish received multiple enquiries during the summer transfer Window, but it's Everton who have now won the race to secure his signature.

With Grealish out of contract next summer, it'll be interesting to see where his longer-term future lies. The England international will undoubtedly have to prove his fitness over the coming months, given he's been missing for large parts of last season.

It always felt incredibly likely that Grealish would be heading back to Everton this summer.

David Moyes spoke incredibly fondly of the 30-year-old, while Grealish himself hasn't shied away from the fact that he loved his time here.

Grealish, instead of returning to Manchester City following his injury, opted to stay at Finch Farm for his rehabilitation, which is incredibly rare during a loan move.

That showed his clear desire and love for the club, and he's now set to spend at least another season on Merseyside.

What happens beyond that remains to be seen, but with Grealish set to be out of contract, there's every chance Everton could look to sign him on a permanent deal.
