Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on a double Chelsea swoop for Tosin Adarabioyo and Mykhailo Mudryk. Spurs, who are winless in their opening two Premier League matches, are facing a race against time to get the deals across the line and ratified before Tuesday's 11pm deadline.
Spurs have reached an agreement to sign the Blues defender with personal terms a formality. Tosin has been granted a medical to complete the cross-London move which would see him become the ninth addition of the summer.
A loan deal has also been accepted to sign Mudryk, while Fabrizio Romano has suggested an agreement regarding personal terms has been reached.
Roberto De Zerbi's side have been forced into more movement at the back after Kevin Danso expressed a desire to leave, following an admission from the Italian.
Danso is the subject of interest from Sunderland and BBC Sport have reported that he is set to sign for the Black Cats.

Tosin is on the verge of bringing a two-year career at Stamford Bridge to a close. Xabi Alonso has been tasked with culling their defensive options after inheriting as many as 10 central defenders.
Trevoh Chalobah, Benoit Badiashile, Mamadou Sarr and Axel Disasi have all left the club, with Chalobah and Badiashile completing permanent moves to Serie A.
The 28-year-old looks to be one of the final defenders out the door. He was left out of the squad that beat Brighton & Hove Albion 4-3 on Sunday.
Tosin appears to have fallen down the pecking order behind Wesley Fofana, Levi Colwill, Josh Acheampong, plus the arrival of Maxence Lacroix.
Further up the field, however, Spurs could finally be about to bolster their attacking options. It has been a chastening week in the market for the club having missed out on two targets.
Spurs had held a long-standing interest in Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, who had faced an uncertain future at Anfield due to the ongoing transition in attacking areas for Andoni Iraola.
Manchester City had entered the market and seemingly appeared to have successfully hijacked a deal, with the player agreeing to make the controversial move.
However, Liverpool pulled the plug on the deal after reportedly failing to source a viable alternative as their efforts to sign Yankuba Minteh or Ismaila Sarr were in vain.
They had been in talks with Everton for Iliman Ndiaye and looked to be progressing over a move. However, City swooped in to hijack the deal and are closing in on a deal worth £65m.
