The final day of the summer transfer window is here, and it could be a busy one for Liverpool, with plenty of deals expected in the Premier League before the market slams close.
The Reds have welcomed four new players to the club in recent months, as Jeremy Jacquet, Victor Munoz, Ronald Araujo, and Bradley Barcola, though there still remain some potential problem areas.
Right-back and the midfield are concerns, though it's unclear whether the Merseyside outfit will make a concentrated effort to fix those areas.
There are also some exits expected before the transfer window closes, with a few players facing a move away from the club in the coming hours.
So, with that said, here's a look at the latest Liverpool transfer news and rumors ahead of another busy day of action in the summer transfer window.
Trey Nyoni (Liverpool)

Liverpool has rejected a late bid for Trey Nyoni from Nottingham Forest, as The Athletic claims the Reds instantly turned down the $40 million offer.
While the Premier League outfit is keen on the midfielder, Andoni Iraola and his side have made it clear that no further bids will be accepted, as he is going to be relied upon this season.
The report adds that, while he signed a new contract just a year ago, talks are expected soon over another extension and improved terms for Nyoni to stay for the future.
Liverpool.com says: Liverpool cannot afford to dip into the market for a replacement so late, so keeping hold of Nyoni makes sense for that reason.
That's without mentioning the fact that the 19-year-old has plenty of potential that goes beyond the short-term impact that he can make this season.
Whether that changes in January, if Liverpool looks to sign another midfielder, remains to be seen. But for now, keeping Nyoni makes sense.
Iliman Ndiaye (Everton)

Iliman Ndiaye is set to join Manchester City from Everton this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano, in a deal that is worth up to $88 million.
It's a move that comes as a slight twist, amid previous links with a move to Liverpool, and more recent talks over a switch to Tottenham.
Liverpool.com says: A potential move for Ndiaye to Liverpool always seemed unlikely, because of the Merseyside derby connections, as well as the fee that was likely to be involved.
While the Senegalese international has plenty of quality, he would be another option that prefers the left flank, and the Reds already have plenty of those.
