Emmanwori, a 6 foot 3 rookie standout who helped Seattle capture Super Bowl LX, posted a simple four word reaction on social media. All that for us, he wrote, adding a laughing emoji and a salute emoji.

The message carried an obvious NFC West edge. Seattle enters the 2026 season as the defending champion after eliminating the Rams in last season’s conference title game, a result that fueled Los Angeles into an aggressive offseason.
Bringing back Donald gives the Rams another major piece on a defensive front that already added Myles Garrett through a trade, renewing the pairing speculation fans had chased for months.
Rams fans quickly pushed back online, pointing to how Los Angeles wide receiver Puka Nacua produced big numbers against Seattle’s defense last season. Even so, Emmanwori’s confidence reflects a locker room that has already beaten this version of the Rams once, and plans to prove it again.
Aaron Donald’s Long Road Back to the Rams
Donald’s decision follows weeks of speculation that began once the Rams traded for Garrett this offseason, a move that first sparked talk of a potential pairing with the future Hall of Famer.
Los Angeles head coach Sean McVay confirmed Donald had gone through a strict training process before working out with the team twice in August, a stretch that finally convinced the two sides to make it official.
Donald said afterward, “If the wife wasn’t happy it wasn’t gonna get done. My wife was on board and she was with me 100%.”

The comments echo how Donald has described his decision-making around the comeback in the weeks leading up to Sunday’s announcement.
McVay has not committed to Donald playing in Seattle’s Week 1 matchup, saying the team will take his workload one day at a time as the regular season approaches.
Seattle opens its title defense on September 9 against New England, while Donald and the Rams prepare for their own 2026 debut. The NFC West rivals meet twice this season, in Week 16 and Week 18, giving both sides time to back up their words on the field.
