Arsenal could still be in for a busy deadline, with the Gunners looking to get several deals over the line. They will have until 11pm tonight to complete their final business.

The forward line has been an area Arsenal were looking to improve heading into the summer, and it’s one of the areas they’re exploring before tonight’s deadline. And ahead of what promises to be a crazy end to the window, Express Sport have explored all of the deals the north Londoners could complete today...

While they might have been dreaming of signing Vinicius Junior or Julian Alvarez, it feels like those options have fallen by the wayside for Arsenal. It wasn’t for the lack of trying, but the Gunners are still left in a situation where they need a new forward before the window shuts.

It looks as if that could end up being Lyon attacker Malick Fofana, who is said to have been offered to Arsenal by intermediaries. Fofana 19 goals in 83 appearances for the French side, and is said to be valued at around £34million. He is a solid option if Arteta wants extra competition for new man Christos Tzolis on the left wing.

This late scramble for a forward signing has stemmed from agreeing a deal to sell Gabriel Martinelli to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal. Arsenal will be banking a profit for that signing, with a deal worth £55million said to have been agreed with the Middle Eastern outfit.

The Brazil international’s exit will become the club’s record sale, surpassing the £40m Arsenal received from Liverpool for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the summer of 2017.

It became clear at the beginning of the summer that Gabriel Jesus was no longer in Mikel Arteta’s plans. There have been all sorts of links, but ultimately it looks as if he will end up at Barcelona.

Arsenal, who paid £45m for Jesus’ signature back in the summer of 2022, will recoup around £8.5m for the former Manchester City man.

And completing a busy deadline day for the champions, Fabio Vieira is being tipped to sign for Hamburg. It never worked out for the Portuguese midfielder at the Emirates, who has spent the last few seasons out on loan.

The 26-year-old was on loan at Hamburg last season and is expected to make a return to the Bundesliga side before the 11pm deadline.
