The Enzo Fernandez to Manchester City saga is finally going to end today!
With the transfer window closing at 11pm, this is City’s final chance to sign Fernandez from Chelsea until January.
The midfielder has missed Chelsea’s last two matches, including their epic 4-3 win against Brighton & Hove Albion over the weekend.
Fernandez is pushing for a move, and it looks like the 25-year-old might just get one.

Chelsea set City a deadline to buy Fernandez last month, which passed without their Premier League rivals even making a bid for the Argentine.
Nevertheless, the Blues still seem prepared to sell Fernandez as long as their valuation is met and they can find a replacement.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, those close to Fernandez are now optimistic he will join City before the transfer deadline.
It is set to be an extremely busy day for Chelsea, who are also in the process of selling Tosin Adarabioyo to Tottenham Hotspur. Mykhailo Mudryk is also set to join their London rivals on loan, with it being believed that they will have an option to buy the Ukrainian attacker.

In terms of incomings, again, Chelsea will need to replace Fernandez if the Argentina international does end up joining City.
Chelsea were interested in signing Lamine Camara from AS Monaco, but it is thought that there are some complications.

Manu Kone will not be an easy signing either, with AS Roma reluctant to sell the 25-year-old.
It will be interesting to see if Chelsea would still be willing to sanction a deal for Fernandez without having a replacement lined up. The former Benfica man is desperate to depart Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea would leave themselves in a very bad position if they fail to replace a £100m midfielder, who was one of their best players last term.
