Bukayo Saka provided a four-word response when asked what he thinks about Chelsea during a live TV interview on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football following Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Aston Villa.
Saka scored the only goal of the game as the Gunners battled their way to three hard-earned points at Villa Park.
The England international tucked home Riccardo Calafiori’s pass from close range on the hour-mark to help reigning champions Arsenal start the 2026-27 campaign with two victories.
“I think it was a squad victory and everybody that was involved in the game in any capacity made a difference for us,” Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta told reporters after the match.
“That's a big message for all of us because with the depth that we have and with the quality that we have, if you really make that count, that's going to be a massive boost for us.”

Arsenal are one of four teams to start the new season with six points from a possible six. Manchester City, promoted Hull City and Xabi Alonso’s Chelsea have also won their opening two league fixtures.
It’s new-look Chelsea who Arsenal welcome to the Emirates Stadium this Sunday. The Blues look revitalised under Alonso, beating Fulham 3-2 and Brighton 4-3 in the space of six days.
However, Saka was reluctant to praise Chelsea ahead of this weekend’s match in north London, despite admitting: “I’ve seen them”.
Asked by Sky Sports presenter Dave Jones what he thinks about the Blues, Saka issued an ice-cold response: “We’ll see on Sunday”.
Saka’s response made MNF duo Jamie Carragher and Thierry Henry burst out laughing. Watch the clip below:
Arsenal vs Chelsea: A Fascinating Fixture

It will be fascinating to see whether Chelsea’s star-studded forward line - comprised of Joao Pedro, Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers - can find a way past Arsenal’s rock-solid defence.
The Gunners haven’t conceded a single goal in their opening two Premier League fixtures and will be aiming to make it a hat-trick of clean sheets against their fellow Londoners this weekend.
On the other hand, Chelsea have already conceded five Premier League goals this term. Only Ipswich Town and Crystal Palace have shipped in more goals during the opening two gameweeks, while Aston Villa and Tottenham have also conceded five apiece.
Arteta will be confident that his side, particularly with home advantage, will add to Chelsea’s ‘goals conceded’ tally on Sunday afternoon.
