Liverpool are ready to stick with their squad as it is on deadline day despite their interest in adding another winger.
The Reds have completed the £123million signing of Bradley Barcola to bolster their attack and had been keen on adding more firepower in the final third. Yankuba Minteh had been on their radar but Brighton rejected their offers, forcing them to look elsewhere.
Liverpool then pivoted to Ismaila Sarr, who top scored for Crystal Palace last season. But Sky Sports reports that Andoni Iraola will not push for any late business after keeping hold of Cody Gakpo, who was linked with a move to Manchester City.
Talks over an £85m deal were underway, but Liverpool later decided to retain the Dutchman. With Gakpo now staying at Anfield Liverpool's need to add to their attack has lessened.
Those at Anfield have poured money into their frontline over the last 12 months and Iraola now has three players who have cost in excess of £100m. Barcola will look to link up with Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz, who are both still trying to unlock their best football since moving to the Reds.
Liverpool also added Victor Munoz earlier this summer. The Spaniard scored their equaliser in Saturday's draw with Nottingham Forest. Rio Ngumoha is looking to push his case for more involvement whilst Hugo Ekitike will eventually return from injury. The Frenchman was the Reds' top scorer last season.
Gakpo has started both games for Liverpool this season, scoring against Newcastle and providing an assist against Forest.

Iraola had refused to give any assurances that players who arrive or depart, but did claim that Liverpool were short in the wide areas. Now though it appears as if Liverpool will stick with the options they already have.
"As you know we are trying to sign in that position [wingers] and we cannot talk about players that right now are not ours but it is evident we are trying to improve and fill or trying to fill that position because we don't have the numbers," he said last week. "I hope we can have good news soon but we are still not there."
