Serie A is set to gain another Scotland international amid reports that a deal has been struck for Nathan Patterson to join Torino on a permanent transfer.
The Everton right-back is widely reported to have travelled to Italy to undergo a medical ahead of completing a £1million move which includes a 30 per cent sell-on.
The 24-year-old will sign a three-year deal and join up with Scotland team-mate Che Adams, who along with Denis Law are the only other Scots to have played for the Turin club.

Patterson has made just 68 appearances for Everton since joining from Rangers for £11million in January 2022. He has struggled to make the right-back position his own with his time at the Toffees blighted by injury.
Despite struggling for regular game-time in the Premier League, Patterson was a regular in Steve Clarke's Scotland squads whenever available and will hope to remain part of the set-up under new boss Sebastian Pocognoli.
He took his Scotland cap tally to 29 at the World Cup this summer, starting the group matches against Morocco and Brazil, and will now look to kickstart his club career in the Italian top flight under recently-appointed Torino head coach Ignazio Abate.
Torino have stared the new Serie A season with back-to-back defeats by Milan and Sassuolo and are in action on Tuesday night as they host Monza in the second round of the Coppa Italia.
Patterson will become the eighth Scot currently competing in Serie A alongside Adams, Scott McTominay, Billy Gilmour (both Napoli), Lewis Ferguson (Bologna), Lennon Miller (Udinese), Josh Doig and Kieron Bowie (both Sassuolo).
