Chelsea striker Marc Guiu has secured a permanent transfer to German club RB Leipzig on deadline day for a fee worth £14.5m.
Guiu joined Chelsea in 2024 and made 29 appearances for the Blues across two seasons, scoring eight goals during this period.
However, the Spanish star only played 11 Premier League games for Chelsea and failed to score a single goal in England’s top flight.
He also had a brief loan spell at Sunderland and did not score in either of his Premier League appearances for the Black Cats.
Guiu leaves Stamford Bridge after finding himself behind Joao Pedro and Danny Welbeck in the pecking order under Xabi Alonso.
