Celtic are reportedly close to signing Chelsea striker Shim Mheuka on loan for the 2026/27 campaign.
The Parkhead club are understood to be pursuing a deal for the 2026/27 campaign.
Sky Sports reports that the England youth international is undergoing a medical in London today ahead of a possible switch to Scotland.
Mheuka agreed terms on a new Chelsea contract last month, keeping him at Stamford Bridge until summer 2033.
However, he is expected to join the Scottish Premiership champions for game time this season away from Stamford Bridge.
The forward was named Premier League 2 Player of the Season last term after Chelsea won the youth league title. He scored 18 goals and made one assist in 19 appearances for the club’s under-21 side, which he captained.
Shim said: "It has been a great season for me and I’m very proud to receive this award.
"I’ve worked hard throughout the year and I’m grateful to my family, the staff and my team-mates for all of their support."
