**Everton are set to offload Tim Iroegbunam and Nathan Patterson before the transfer deadline.**
Iroegbunam is line for a departure from Hill Dickinson Stadium after Hull City reignited their interest despite initially calling off the deal over a pre-season injury.
The Premier League newcomers [cooled their interest when the midfielder picked up a hamstring issue](https://www.clickliverpool.com/sport/everton-fc/67257-everton-midfielders-sale-dashed-by-injury/) during the Blues’ friendly defeat to Stuttgart last month.
However the Tigers have returned to the table for Iroegbunam with a slightly reduced upfront package of £13 million which could increase to £22M with future add-ons.
Iroegbunam faced a battle to force his way into David Moyes’ plans with a well-stocked midfield featuring five established first-team options ahead of him.
The 23-year-old made 52 appearances in all competitions for Everton during a two-season spell following his arrival from Aston Villa for around £9M in summer 2024.
Also following Iroegbunam out the door at Bramley-Moore Dock is full-back Nathan Patterson, who is in line to seal a permanent move to Serie A mainstays Torino.
Patterson will undergo a medical in Italy on Tuesday on a deal worth £860,000 with a 30% future sell-on with the player’s contract on Merseyside expiring next summer.
The Scotland international’s departure will pave the way for Kenny Tete’s arrival from Fulham that will resolve Everton’s longstanding right-back issue before the deadline.
Patterson is the second player from Moyes’ side who is poised to move to Serie A with striker Beto putting the finishing touches on a £15M switch to Fiorentina.
Beto’s return to the league where he thrived with Udinese comes as the direct replacement for ex-Everton forward Moise Kean, who is joining Como.
