The UEFA Champions League returns to Merseyside this month as Liverpool prepare to welcome some of Europe’s biggest clubs to Anfield. With the League Phase fixtures now confirmed, Andoni Iraola’s men are set to face Atlético Madrid in their opening game of the competition.
Liverpool will host the Spanish side on Wednesday, September 9. The Reds won 3-2 when the two teams met last in September thanks to an injury time goal from Virgin van Dijk.
And while Liverpool has not yet announced details on its own ticket allocation, official match tickets are already on sale at Seat Unique. This retailer offers a range of premium VIP and hospitality packages with some of the best seats at Anfield, plus complimentary food and drink.

Seat Unique’s prices tend to be higher than regular match tickets but tickets for the Atlético game are much more affordable than many other fixtures. While they can fluctuate leading up to the game, they currently start at £199 for The Village package.
This provides seating in block CE2 or CE8 of the Kenny Dalglish Stand, as well as access to the hospitality area from three hours before kick-off and one hour after. Here, fans can enjoy a two-course buffet, complimentary drink and tea and coffee.

A ticket also comes with a matchday programme and a night in a three-star hotel for two guests on the night of the match. Also available is the Brodies package from £225 per person, which includes padded seating in the front three rows of block AM7 in the New Anfield Road stand.
As well as premium seats close to the pitch, this option offers access to the Brodies Lounge from three hours before kick-off and an hour after the final whistle, where there are a range of street food dishes served before the game. Fans are also served a complimentary drink at half time, but the other drinks must be purchased separately at the lounge bar.
Seat Unique says a Liverpool legend will also be in attendance, while fans can enjoy a complimentary matchday programme and in-lounge betting facilities. The Brodies package also includes a hotel stay on the night of the match.

The final option is Seat Unique’s Anfield Beat Lounge package for £275 per person, providing seating in block L16 of the Main Stand’s lower tier. This is said to offer ‘unrivalled’ views of the pitch and also includes access to an exclusive hospitality area from three hours before and one hour after the match.
While food and drink must be purchased on the day, there is pre-match entertainment and the chance to brush shoulders with former Liverpool players in the lounge. Guests also receive a matchday programme and complimentary drink at half-time, plus a hotel stay on the night of the match.
It’s worth noting each Seat Unique package is for Liverpool fans only as away fans are not permitted in the hospitality areas. The club also offers its hospitality packages, but these start at a more pricey £577 per person for the Boot Room Restaurant.
This comes with dining, museum entry and official hospitality tickets, while the Japan Airlines Lounge package starts at £1,491 and includes a three-course meal and complimentary drinks. TV listings for the Champions League League Phase have not yet been released, but Liverpool vs Atlético is expected to air on TNT Sports.
If this is confirmed, the game will also be available to stream on HBO Max and Prime Video’s TNT Sports channel.
