Sheffield Wednesday have made a deadline day swoop for a player from Manchester City’s production line.
Jaden Heskey, 20, is coming back to the Owls for a second spell.
The midfielder played for the club on loan last season, making 20 appearances in their doomed Championship season.
“I'm over the moon to be back after I got a taste of it last season. It's definitely a place that I wanted to return to,” said Heskey who becomes the Owls 17th signing of a busy summer rebuild.

“It was really tough with the games and the situation that we were in, but I think the fans, the support that we had all the way through, it couldn't really go unnoticed.
“The last day was a special day that I'll always remember.
“I've already met the squad, and they're really top lads. It'll be easy just to fit in with the squad again.”
Heskey goes straight into the squad for the Owls’League One trip to Wycombe Wanderers tonight.
Owls’ sporting director Simon Wilson said: “Jaden was a target for the club from the day I arrived following a really productive loan spell last season, so we are delighted that, after considering a number of offers, he has chosen to return to Sheffield Wednesday.
“Henrik and the staff felt he was one of the players who developed most during that period and the additional analysis we have done only strengthened that view.
“He joins what we believe is a terrific group of players competing for selection in midfield and brings different attributes that complement what we already have.
“More than anything, when he arrived this morning, what struck me was how quickly he had the whole training ground smiling. He is a hardworking, positive person who is desperate to do well for Wednesday, and we are really pleased to have him back.”
