Liverpool continued preparations for the visit to Ipswich in the Premier League, with Cody Gakpo and Giorgi Mamardashvili among those to be pictured at the AXA Training Centre

Cody Gakpo and Giorgi Mamardashvili were both part of Liverpool's gym session ahead of the trip to Ipswich on Friday, with the duo seemingly set to stay put on deadline day.
That is the expectation after Gakpo - who seemed in a good mood in training - drew interest from Manchester City and Mamardashvili was linked with Nottingham Forest. Liverpool has opted to keep the former as it is already looking light of numbers in attack.
At the AXA Training Centre on deadline day, Liverpool's players were pictured doing their usual preparations for the Premier League visit to Portman Road, where they will be hoping to secure a first win of the season against Gary O'Neil's side.
Injured stars such as Joe Gomez and Federico Chiesa were not present, but players including Florian Wirtz, Jeremy Jacquet and Dominik Szoboszlai were all smiles.
Bradley Barcola, who arrived from PSG on Monday, was not pictured in the collection of images posted on the club site, but he met some of new teammates, including Virgil van Dijk, yesterday.
The French international is eligible to play on Friday, though he is likely to come off the bench rather than start. Barcola has not played a competitive game since he got 45 minutes against England in the World Cup's third-place play-off.
One player who didn't feature in the gym session was Harvey Elliott, who is set to sign for Valencia on a season-long loan. He has already landed in Spain and could debut against Barcelona this weekend.
"An incredible club," Elliott told reporters in Valencia before he underwent his medical. "I'm really thankful for the opportunity. I'm going to play as well as I can here and I know the history of the club.
"It determines a lot of hard work and I'm going to give everything I have for Valencia. It happened quite quick and I was ready for the call.
"It's just making sure I'm ready to come here and play and I am. I'm here now and I'm looking forward to it.

"The goal is to get Valencia into European football. It is an incredible club and I want to do the best I can for them. I feel like with the team, we can do that, but it is going to be a hard season.
"I'll play anywhere. I'm just happy to play football. But as a number 10, that is where I think I am the most effective."
Meanwhile, Liverpool is hopeful of concluding transfer deals for both Lucca Brughmans (the Genk goalkeeper) and Djylian N'Guessan (a forward from Saint Etienne forward). Both are 18 years old and would be signings for the summer of 2027.
