Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado is reportedly in talks to join La Liga side Deportiva de A Coruna before the close of the transfer window later today.

Casado has been looking for an exit and could now be set to stay in the Spanish top flight, according to Diario Sport.

Deportivo are trying to bring in Casado on a season-long loan and the midfielder is now considering heading to Antonio Hidalgo’s side.

The Galicians are back in La Liga this season and have made a good start, drawing against Elche and Malaga and beating Valencia.

Former Barcelona striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang has signed for the club this season and has impressed so far with three goals in his first three games.

Casado doesn’t have long to make his mind up, with the window set to close later today, and must now decide whether to head for Deportivo on loan or potentially go to Turkey on a permanent transfer.
